Roberts Tax Group has done a fantastic job managing my taxes and providing personal financial insights. RTG doesn’t just file my taxes, they also perform analysis to help ensure I withhold the proper amounts so that I always know what to expect. They are personable, timely, and effective. Additionally, I have utilized their services for numerous personal and financial situations throughout the years. They have a great network of people from various different professions that they interact with. If RTG can’t help with a specific problem that you have they will certainly know a professional who can. I highly recommend Roberts Tax Group.

Our business with this group ended before it began.
Unfortunately the tax preparer we had been using for many years retired. Before she retired, she formally recommended Roberts Tax Group for 2023 and ongoing tax prep. I phoned Roberts Tax Group March 18, 2024 and left a detailed message with Kris Roberts. By March 21 my message had not been returned. On March 21 I sent an email communication via their company web site, again including detailed information. As of this writing on March 27, none of my messages have been returned. They may be busy this time of year, but its unprofessional at minimum to not return phone/email messages at all. Clearly, this is not the proper way to begin a new business relationship. Needless to say, we have taken our tax business elsewhere.

This is the most unprofessional tax or financial service I've ever experienced in my life. I don't say this lightly and have never left a negative review for any business before. Roberts Tax Group filed an incorrect tax return that hindered my ability to secure a mortgage. What's even worse is that they refused to amend my tax return or provide any explanation for their refusal to assist me. Adding to the confusion, this negative experience is at odds with all the five-star reviews they have received. If I could, I would give them a zero-star review.

In response to their comment below: again, I am shocked, I only corresponded with Sarah and Kris so and would publicly share all of our interactions. I was not “rude” or “unprofessional” or “disrespectful.” I am however, having to redo two years of Tax Returns with another firm.

I have been thoroughly impressed with their entire team. They were always quick to respond to my questions, Sarah does a fantastic job keeping track of all the details and Kris took time to go over my return in detail with me and make sure I had everything I needed. Very pleased!!

Kris and her team, unlike other firms we have had our business and personal taxes handled by, RTG keeps up with the tax code changes and looks to what will or may change in the future to reduce your liabilities. Their newsletters keep you on track and informed of these changes. Kris is a tremendous asset to our business, if I was up the tax issues creek without a paddle, Kris s who I would want at my side and she had been.

This is my first time filing my taxes with The Roberts Tax Group. I am a new client and they had no problem taking me in. They said they are always accepting new clients. The staff is highly knowledgeable and very good at what they do. I had a few questions about my return, and they had no problem talking with me and explaining the "why" in terms I could understand. I will defiantly be back next year. I wish I came here when I first stated to file my taxes online. Especially with the new tax laws, they know their stuff! Staff is super friendly too!

Staci comes to our office quarterly to review our QuickBooks in order to prepare us for tax season. Prior to this year I never really used QuickBooks except for invoicing. She has the patience of a saint. She worked with me to teach me the ins and out so that I can be successful moving forward. Now when she comes its just a quick cleanup to make sure everything is running smoothly and answer any questions I may have. I highly recommend the Roberts tax group. Their entire team is friendly, easy to work with, and they have a lot of fun! What agency can you go to that you laugh the entire time you are there while preparing your taxes?
