I am opting to not post this review on the Coaches site. I will admit I was skeptical at first regarding the offer to explore franchise opportunities at no cost, but it is a true claim. The process is drawn out and in-depth. It is important to be honest about your parameters as that helps guide the coach to choose the franchise options presented.

My experience was overall positive with this coach. That is why I have rated this with three stars. I enjoyed our interactions. After 2.5 months of discussion, he provided three franchise options. These seemed somewhat outside my parameters, but the coach implored me to meet with all of them, research the companie, and have an open mind. I did that.

I spent two weeks and many hours researching the companies, took pages of notes, watched videos, conducted zoom calls, and treated the process as a job interview. The financials are not an issue.

Today the coach and I zoomed to discuss my findings, impressions, questions, and overall thoughts. I was honest. As he had told me to do, I reviewed my findings relative to my mission statement and the discovery we had done together over the past two months.

Unfortunately, my thoughts did not apparently meet his expectations. The conversation devolved. He became agitated, dismissive, disrespectful, and insulting. He spoke over me more times than I can count. I even stated this and asked him to stop as I was attempting to express myself calmly and he did not. I finally ended the one-sided conversation as he obviously was not interested in hearing what I had to say.

This is unfortunate. I was not ugly or angry. I have parameters that are important to me and I am not going to be bullied into changing them. Per the coach's commentary, I had been well received by the franchises and I can only wonder if it was the fact that the dollar signs he saw from the potential match were disappearing. This last interaction earns Zero stars.

The education was valuable. The bullying and pushiness when I did not follow his "plan" is unacceptable. Think carefully and keep your wits about you before working with this company. They will say repeatedly "we are not here to push you into a choice" - but it feels like that might not be the case.

Denise reached out to me on LinkedIn. I worked through the evaluations and had meetings with some of the franchises that I showed interest in. After discussing this with my wife, we decided not to pursue franchising. Although I have not committed to a franchise and lost my job, Denise continues to help me with recommendations through her extensive network. If I were younger, I would most likely have done a franchise. If you want to be an entrepreneur, I highly recommend contacting her for an overview of what is available.
