I’m a new resident to Sofi Belmont Hills and have been living here for about two months. I love my apartment as well as the neighborhood! Sabrina has been super helpful since the beginning of my apartment hunting. She is patient about all my questions regarding the apartment and she helped me find the unit that fits all my requirements. She is also very responsive and friendly. Based on my experience of talking to more than 10 leasing offices in the Bay Area, I found that it is difficult to find a great management team, so I’m very grateful that I found Sabrina and her team! The maintenance here is reliable and they response quickly for the things I need as well. Overall, both the management team and apartment itself are wonderful. I’m extremely happy that I found my home here!

Living here was overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The management (Sabrina and Charlie) and maintenance teams were very responsive and did an excellent job of addressing any concerns. If you can tour and like what you see, I would recommend living here.

Pros:
- Staff
- Value (my unit had in-unit laundry, though not all units do)
- Parking availability for guests
- Proximity to Safeway and Waterdog Park

Cons:
- Distance from 101 and public transit
- Older establishment (nothing is too jank, so not an issue if you’re able to tour in person and are okay with it)
- Poor noise isolation. I was never bothered by my neighbors, but it will probably be an issue if you want to have frequent social gatherings.

The issue regarding my disability that arose two months ago with the management of the lease office, Sofi Bellmont Hills, has been resolved and settled. All of my requests were fulfilled, and I am satisfied with my stay for 2 years at the apartment. Thank you very much

I love staying here. The apartment complex was just refreshed. My apartment has new carpet, and the hallways / stairwells have new flooring and were just painted. The pool is incredible, it is like being at the MGM grand in Las Vegas! There are awesome cabanas, lounge chairs, an amazing BBQ pit, it’s an awesome treat after a long day's work. There is also power at the pool for people like me that work remote, it’s nice to chill by the pool and work! :-). The location is perfect and everything I need is close by. And OMG this is the quietest area, behind my apartment is a huge hill, backing up to Water Dog lake, I can walk to the right or to the left out of the complex and easily walk to trail heads! This place is a real gem, the automated scheduling, the online resident portal, this place is up to speed on tech. They also have electronic amazon type bins to receive your packages securely. The staff is amazing to boot! Sabrina and Juliana are great, they are always happy and ready to help. I made a great choice choosing Sofi Hills Apartments 🙂 PS. I have a studio, and it has an awesome partition that makes it feel like a 1BR, as well, the in studio W/D rock 🙂

Having lived in the apartment for almost two years, I broke my leg two months before the lease ended. The landlord absolutely refuses to help in any way, even though I lost my job for two months and can't afford to pay rent. But the landlord is not interested at all, and it's practically impossible to come to an agreement. So, before you move in,

I've really enjoyed my time living here! It is a beautiful, safe, and quiet location with hiking and biking trails close by and multiple doggy bag & disposal stands. With the location comes wildlife such as coyotes and owls, however I don't think anyone has been harmed by the wildlife.

The apartment buildings, landscape, and gym are kept clean. The buildings are secure with virtual pin pads, management has been great with communication (responding and sending out relevant info), and maintenance requests are completed quickly. I always received my packages in my building or in the package locker. The pool is beautiful and clean. The apartment also hosts happy hours, yoga classes, etc. sometimes. The apartment is located in an expensive area but I feel rent is reasonable.

My only recommendation would be updates to the apartment interiors and the shared washer/dryers. My kitchen and appliances are updated but the bathroom cabinets, faucets, and window blinds are pretty outdated. It didn't bother me too much but the floors are thin and you can hear your upstairs and next door neighbors.

If I didn't have to move, I would have renewed my lease. Hope this review helps another apartment hunter!

The staffs are nice - but the building is not clean sometime - and when something brake down it’s take forevdr to get fix not the inside apt. But like elevator and laundry room - since the building have pets they should vacuum at least 2x a week .. because it’s not fair for people doesn’t have pets and walking in the apts hsve dogs hairs under the shoes so we have to vacuum out entrance door all the times cuz of the dog hair from next door- not only me thinking of that but lots of the neighbors think of it too .

The location is perfect- close proximity to shops, restaurants, the mall, and of course beautiful hiking trails within a few steps away. Safe neighborhood and it’s quite peaceful and serene. The unit was quaint but always had problems with the blinds and the washer. Maintenance was quick to respond to trouble tickets but it seemed like it was just a temporary fix so I just left those things alone yet they were annoying. The neighbors were quiet for the most part but during the summer or weekends in the evenings, you can hear a few people talking loud or tvs blaring esp when I left my windows open.
And one last thing, Sabrina the property manager was not very welcoming. She always seems to have a sour look on her face when I walked in and even one time asked if I made an appt. when all I needed was to ask a quick question while dropping off a payment as if I was bothering her. Even talking to her on the phone, felt like a burden and rushed. Maybe it was just me because I’ve seen her super friendly with the other residents. But as of my move out, I started communicating with a new property manager (Charlie) who was very helpful in answering my questions and sounded very pleasant.
