Very nice campground. Accommodated our group of about 20. Tent and RV camp sites available. Day use swimming area with 2 boat docks to launch and load if you want to do all that. Great place to camp on Beaver Lake! Not far from downtown Rogers if you get bored at the lake and want to enjoy the local food and nightlife.

My experience was great. The rangers are easy to interact with. They work with their renters. My boyfriend and I just stayed there this past week, and we met some interesting people while swimming. There was a domestic violence incident with another person staying there, but it was taken care of quickly by the rangers and sherrif. We would definitely stay again.

Incredible place to come camp !!! Bring your boats, paddle boards, canoe’s & jet skis!!! We had a blast on the lake !!! Great location for a day at the lake or a week of camping!!! All the amenities you need are here and security keeps the place safe. Boat docks are are easy access. This place is beautiful!!! So much to do and see !!!

We almost had the campground to ourselves. Other than some thunderstorms, we had a very quiet stay. Since we are so early in the season, we weren’t able to enjoy all the park had to offer. This is a beautiful location and we would like to come back in the summer. We stayed in site 9 which is a pull through with water and electric. This site is definitely tricky with a big slope but we made it work. There is a dump station on site.

I am not a big camper. I have bad allergies. I was already sick when I came. I can't sleep on the hard ground. I have a herniated disc in my lower back and bone spurs in my neck. I've only been a few times in my life. The weather was almost perfect, except that it rained early in the morning, the day we were going to leave, like 1am. Everything got wet. Everyone got very little sleep. I at least got to lay in a hammock for the 1st time in many years. I'd forgotten how comfortable it was. The one restroom I visited was cleaner than I anticipated. It had it's normal toilet issues. We used the showers. We couldn't light a wood fire because of the wildfire danger. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was the first time camping out for some.

Really nice Corps of Engineers campground. Level pads, but be prepared to back in on a hill for some. The whole loop was covered in oak trees, with lots of nature activity. Deer and other critters seen to wander the campground.
The site I was on was near the boat launch drive, which saw quite a bit of early morning and evening activity. While it didn't bother me, some folks might wish to be on the other side of the loop.
Bathrooms were clean, but showed signs of a long season. Since they will shut down 1 Nov for the year, I'm sure all the maintenance will be taken care of. My one critique is that the shower runs on a button push timer and provided approx 4 seconds of water per push. And you had to push it a number of times to get the barely lukewarm water from the heater to the shower head. I'd gladly bring quarters, or have a timer, but this system is the worst.

My family and I started going here back in October of 2017. This was the 2nd year last month we stayed. We are very pleased with the staff and area. We pop up our huge tent and enjoy the camp. No complaints at all. Plus my wife and sun enjoy the electric hookup for their fans at night. Son enjoys the swimming too. We plan on making it a family tradition every October for camping. It even rained on us last month and it was still great!!!!

Stayed at site 23 in mid July. Really enjoyed it! Friendly staff, clean, quiet, active park rangers. Rocky area so bring a hammer for your ground stakes. Definitely have your levelers. Beautiful scenery. Nice swim area. Lots of covered picnic tables and bathrooms near the water. Be sure to have water shoes because of the rocky ground. Showers/bathrooms near our site were nice (short walk also from our site). Clean, especially for a camp ground. No soap or sanitizer for some reason so be prepared with your own. Showers are nice and private with a separate area to dress. We enjoyed Prairie Creek and will definitely return and recommend to others.
