Just came here because my sister has a problem with her leg and didn’t want to go to the hospital we normally do because they were busy. Long story short we got admitted pretty quickly maybe because we got here around 10:30 but non of the staff seems to know what’s going on and it’s a little sketchy. Multiple different doctors seen her in the span of 30 minutes trying to run the same test and look at the same problems and acted surprised when she stated that we had already been over what they are looking at showing they have a lack of communication. I would not recommend if you are unsure of your emergency

The two medical staff I interacted with here are fabulous, caring and attentive. However, I had to go through the horrible experience of checking in. I would suggest that NPMC train or retrain check in staff and review internal policies and procedures to help check in staff provide better patient service.

The scentsy perfume burning in the check in room I had to go in did terrible things to my allergies. And in hindsight, I regret having given my social simply because the check in staff person warned me sternly that her system will ask her twice for a social. At the end of the day, there is no reason for the hospital to need it, to provide medical services.

Suddenly my esophagus swelled and I couldn’t even swallow my own saliva without excruciating pain. I ended up going to NPMC ER. Didn’t have to wait long to be seen. That was great. I was seen by Doctor Haynes Jackson. He basically blew me off. Gave me a Malox/lidocane cocktail to drink that helped slightly for about 10 minutes and sent me on my way. No scan no investigating, nothing!! I spent that night in agony! Next day I went back. This time I saw Medical Practitioner Scott Campbell. Couldn’t have been more different! This guy was Awesome!! He was thorough, and took me seriously. Got a ct scan and found my stomach had been sucked up into a hiatal hernia. He kept me that night and they tested and cared for me very well. I was seen by a wonderful doctor/surgeon Dr Lathan. Great care. Nurses awesome!! Especially my nurse Ronnie. Thank you to all the crew at NPMC. I would seriously look into Dr Haines Jackson. He doesn’t seem to care about the patient or finding out their problem. He needs to go!!

National park is a joke, you can't even sit in the waiting room and text without getting kicked out cause your apparently "taking pictures". There's nothing to even take pictures of except a bunch of papers! My friend was in the back texting me and they said I was taking pictures. This place is a joke!

No other place has made me want to stay home and suffer. They've left me laying in their lobby floor throwing up in a bag after having a heat stroke. Not a single nurse looked at me and had a sense of urgency. Today I waited 4 hours for a test for strep. Npmc does not care about you!

I'm a veteran who come to this facility for years due to the VA unethical practices of altering my medical records to fit their false narrative. I thought those doctors in the civilian side would be more honest ....NOT!! I went to this NPMC ER for chest pain and I was released with the impression there was something else the issue given a prescription. I go to fill the prescription at Express Rx and they refuse to fill and give the prescription stating the VA will not cover the prescription because the doctor at NPMC ER was not covered by the VA ..which is the stupidest thing I was ever told. Then I retrieve my medical records that Monday and noticed many lies in my notes ...I told that doctor I had heart issues he stated more than once I had denied having heart issues I then noticed that the EKG/ECG noted POSSIBLE LEFT ATRIAL ENLARGEMENT?! I was like I read that same description going back years The Dallas VA after I felt my jawline get real tight and my left arm was shooting pain ...I believed then I might be having a heart attack? The VA in Dallas stated NO despite Aspirin 81 were provided then and I'm on them now. Then back to NPMC ER I also see the list of prescriptions didn't include the aspirins 81 that I placed on in August of 2024 I have had a heart condition that the military, any VA Hospitals and any civilian ER visit will not correctly diagnose therefore I'm not getting properly treated for going on over 25 years?! No veteran should have to deal with those in the medical field is purposely allowing her or him to die?! If any medical practices is expected to be paid the small amountthe VA is giving them ...they must follow the VA lying sequences to not be honest about my real issues and just get her out. No veteran should have to deal with substandard medical care after serving her Country HONORABLY?!
