I had to go to court for traffic tickets. I called the big courthouse and they told me that my amount would be $1,400. I got to the courthouse and I went to the first window. I spoke with a white woman with black hair. Anyone from the city who lives in Pine Bluff knows exactly who I am talking about. She told me that I would have to pay $1,100 when I initially told her that I was told to bring $1,400 and all. At the time she assumed that I must have been a repeat offender of something and that I was familiar with the court standards but I was not. This was my first time ever being in a courtroom and I was going so I could pay off my tickets and get my license reinstated for my security job. My father was actually with me so I have witness. So when I told her that the main courthouse told me I had to pay $1,400 she said and I quote in my system you only owe $1,100. What she did not make clear was that I owed 1100 to kerny and the OTHER $300 to the white lady judge. This I wasn't aware of because again I've NEVER been in an out of a court system. She NEVER explained that information to me or my father so we paid the $1100 and used the other $300 to pay for my license to be reinstated. Which left us with $100. 2 weeks pass and I received a warrant for my arrest in the mail. When I called the court they explained that it was released by the other judge. Which upset me because I asked that white lady with the black hair MULTIPLE times that day why did the main court tell me $1400 and your saying $1100. At the time she KNEW the other $300 was suppose to go to the other judge. She could visibly see that in the system in her computer but CHODE not to instruct me on that ASSUMING I knew what to do. This is an issue because it shows the NEGLIGENT approach that was taken with someone, unlike the other damn demons, who was trying to actually take care of his tickets and be in good standing with the city of pine bluff. She treated me like just another criminal and didn't give me any of the information I NEEDED even with ALL the questions I continued to ask that day. Why would I pay to have my license unsuspended if I'm aware that it will be suspended again because of the other judge not being seen? I wouldn't because that wouldn't make sense. But I was instructed wrong and again my father witness all this first hand. I have no shame when I say it was HIS money he used to help me. That's why Im more pissed about it. They never took any type of responsibility for the misinformation which led to me using that money to pay my license off when had I been instructed correctly I would have been told to go see the other judge (which I didn't know I had to see two different judges) I only knew that the full cost was $1400 which I kept pressing her about even when she kept saying you just need to pay the $1100 and when I kept asking where was the other $300 supposed to go to she never answered the question just kept saying I only owed $1100.

Reason I know she knew that I was supposed to see the other judge is because when I called and spoke with them AFTER they released a second warrant for my arrest when the 2 weeks passed she admitted over the phone that she indeed could see that I had to see 2 judges. When I asked why didn't she let me know this when I kept inquire about why the full amount was $1400 she basically chalked it up to "I assumed you would know" and pretty much they extended the time for me to pay but they never unsuspended my lesson which made working impossible. I was forced to forget my security job opportunities because of the warrants. I couldn't drive to get to work because I risked getting more tickets and unlike other people I felt it was wrong for them to not be held accountable in some form or manner. This court and the workers are the worst type of people specifically the building where kearney and them work out of but the most vile absolute worse workers is undoubtedly that white woman with the black hair.

Fantastic area! A special place with both good and bad, same as anywhere else. Quite frankly, the adversity and diversity has created many of the greatest leaders, athletes, business people, farmers, professionals and good ole boys and girls. Home of many great people for many a generation. Proud to call it home!
To others, at times, it may have seemed like “The Wild-Wild West.” When we were coming up, it may have been in some ways. In a good way, It was.
My Grandfather served for 8 years as a member of the Mounted Patrol. Very nice, hard-working,
service minded people who cared about the community and citizens. Big shoes to fill! ❤️
