There are not enough words to describe how amazing IMX Pilates is! Kristen and Jaime’s classes were my go to’s every week. They both bring their own unique teaching styles and you always leave feeling stronger than when you walked in. I went here for about a year and every class had something different thrown into it. They always check in and help with any modifications needed. And Carol is so wonderful, she will do whatever she can to get you into a class that’s “full” and makes sure you’re getting what you need from the studio. If you’re thinking about starting Pilates this is the place for you!! I’m going to miss it here so much.

So excited I found IMX Pilates! I have been having 2 private sessions and 1 duet with Carol for 5 weeks and I have gotten stronger and more flexible. As I get older, I realize how important my spine, core and strength is to overall health and well-being. I am now transitioning to classes; my first was yesterday for Sunday Stretch. I am in the process of recovering from a spinal cord injury which has left me with limited mobility and the loss of muscle mass (core and legs). My wife and I have been taking semi-private reformer classes with Carol for a couple of months. The workout is catered to my rehab needs and has been very helpful in aiding my recovery. Carol is an RN and fully understands body mechanics and many different Pilates techniques. In addition, she is very positive and encouraging. We highly recommend IMX Pilates of North Branford, CT for both regular classes and in cases such as mine which are geared to special rehabilitation concerns.

I cannot rave enough about IMX Pilates of North Branford. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and have been going to them at least 2-3x a week throughout my entire pregnancy. All of the instructors are so skilled and accommodating. With every stage of my pregnancy they modified the classes to fit my needs so I could still participate. Pilates has helped me stay lean and strong and has even prevented me from having any back pain. My husband even says I look even more fit pregnant than I did before 🙂

I LOVE this place. I pay for unlimited so I go as often as I can. All of the instructors are very patient with beginners and also give a nice push to those that need it. I really like that they give a lot of modifications in class. There's a wide age range, body type, some recovering from injury/have limitations, so there's always a way for you to get the most out of class.
