Very dishonest and very rude, it was if I were bothering the owner just by being there. They low ball everyone, they ask how much do you need instead of paying the set price for gold and silver. I had a complete box of 270 premium ammo with the price tag of 45.99 and he offered $10. They also quoted a gun for $75 and said they would price it at $115 and be lucky to sell it… I sold it for $175. Bottom line is if you want to be scammed do business with them, I highly recommend that no one should even attempt to do business with them, drive a few extra miles, it’s worth it, I promise! Complete scam artist that take advantage of customers. Pawn shops offer less than you would get on the free market but never should be running on a 75 to 80 percent margin. They are the definition of greed.

SILENCER REVIEW: Had a great experience purchasing a suppressor from HPC. They have a great in stock selection (despite lots of stores being sold out of stuff). All paperwork was done through SilencerShop. I uploaded my paper trust (not a single shot from SilencerShop) to my SilencerShop account and did my fingerprints at the kiosk. We certified my Form 4 on a Friday at 0900 and I had an approved Form 4 from the ATF in my email by 0630 the next Tuesday (less than 48 business hour approval). Prices are comparable to SilencerShop. My SiCo Omega was $5 more than Silencershop had it listed for (granted HPC also had it instock and ready to go, Silencershop has it out of stock). Tax stamp is $205 plus a $25 transfer fee.

I have dealt with them longer than I can remember. I know more than 15 years an it's always been fast friendly service. I've bought tools an guns an when times were tight or I just didn't want to run a credit check for a short term loan they were happy to help. I was always given the best price when buying an definitely when selling or pawning. Great company..

Great place! All the workers are super helpful and the store itself is light years beyond most pawn shops. Very organized with good merchandise. If you're out in the Bessemer / Hueytown area, you should stop in and check it out.

I have spent a fair amount of money their and I will keep buying their but the one guy short and long red hair was a complete butt hole to me I love all the other staff but today was just a bad experience

Went to buy a 308, they ran my background and said I had a hold. Went the following Saturday to different shop and ZERO issues when i purchased the same rifle but new. The gun I was purchasing was under retail and in fantastic shape. I believe his wife overheard me when I said this is a steal. I will never return.
