Title: Beware of Ineffective and Unethical Prosecuting Attorney

As a concerned citizen and advocate for justice, I feel compelled to share my experience with Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David W. Harrod in Bradley County, Arkansas. Unfortunately, the interactions between him and my family have left us deeply disappointed and concerned about the state of our legal system.

First and foremost, it is evident that Mr. Harrod does not prioritize justice for victims. Instead of diligently advocating for those who have been wronged, he seems more interested in protecting his reputation and covering up his inadequacies as an attorney.

This was especially evident in his recent work of releasing a mentally unstable individual from the system, despite an order to commit and treat. He defied a specific order of the court by snaking around clear and established orders that had been filed and recorded by the State of Arkansas. He failed to pursue justice on behalf of the victims and instead prioritized his interests.

Furthermore, Mr. Harrod's disregard for mental health is alarming. Rather than showing empathy and understanding towards one of Arkansas's most vulnerable populations, the mentally ill, he preys on them for his gain. This unethical behavior is not only concerning but also reflects his lack of integrity as a legal professional and as an advocate. Arkansas law designates prosecuting attorneys as individuals with the responsibility to assist individuals who suffer from mental illness. Additionally, a prosecuting attorney needs to consider the safety of individuals outside of the courtroom. Releasing an individual who suffers from severe mental illness from the care of the State to the public, without ensuring they receive proper care, can pose a severe safety threat to themselves and the general public.

In addition to his lack of empathy and ethical standards, Mr. Harrod also demonstrates incompetence in basic legal procedures. His inability to file paperwork promptly not only delays the legal process but also adds unnecessary stress to the victims he is supposed to serve and protect. Moreover, his willingness to lie to victims further undermines the trust and confidence that the community should have in him and the legal system as a whole.

In conclusion, our experience with Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David Harrod has been nothing short of disappointing and concerning. He has demonstrated a clear lack of dedication to justice, empathy toward vulnerable populations, and competency as a legal professional. I urge others to be cautious and skeptical of his actions and to demand accountability from those who are supposed to uphold the principles of justice and fairness.

Absolutely horrible! Do not recommend.... small town law firm that squeezes every dime they can out of a family or individual while that family waits over a year later to receive any closure. They ignore calls, ignore emails, give you the run around while charging you for each contact. Pitifull and shameful.
