We've always went to the drive up window because I have a bunch of kids with me but now they make you talk to an agent on the atm. They took away everything that made me choose this bank. Instead of forming relationships with employees and building trust, you talk to a stranger every time. Myself, my business, and the rest of my family will be switching to a different bank for this reason. The fact that you can't drive up to the window and talk to someone you recognize is ridiculous. We do business with people we know and trust, not strangers.

I had opened an account approx. three weeks prior to getting a US Treasury check. I deposited the check using my mobile. I called the bank because I made the deposit for an incorrect amount (too much) so I called the bank right away to let them know. They said they would go to the back office to get it fixed. She called me back and told me everything was fine and it had been corrected. I even received a email stating my check was deposited and was given a deposit number. I then received another email telling me that my check was not valid because I did not write (for mobile deposit) I have one account but I guess they can't figure out it came from a mobile phone. There is no way that a US Treasury check from the governments signed by me on the back should be deemed not valid because I did not write "for mobile deposit" this is a bank policy not a law. This was the first time I had deposited a check beside what I opened the account with. They also make you wait three days after your deposit to consider your deposit valid. DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK They are rude, their rules are ridiculous, and I don't know how they get away with some of the things they do, not writing " for bank deposit" does not make a check a invalid or illegal as I have spoken to disability to report this matter and they will be looking into it further.

Well, I thought I had found a bank to use part-time. I was told when I opened the account there would be no fees if I signed up for online banking. I did that within a couple of days of opening the account and I just happened to open a statement and found out that Equity bank has been stealing 5.00 per month for like 5 months. I do not do business with companies that perpetrate fraud. I will be closing the account on Monday. If you don't mind a bank stealing from you then this might be the bank for you, but for me, no... I like a company that is honest.

We have had 3 loans through here within the past 3 year and have been trying to pay our last one off and Melissa will not work with us neither will anyone at corporate Melissa will not fix any of our fees that were the banks fault.
Would not recommend
Also no one will ever give me a call back.

WORST BANK EVER. DO NOT BANK HERE. They withdraw money with no authorization, TWICE. Had to call corporate to get a refund of MY money. Every location is absolutely horrible. Between customer service and just the bank in general. DONT BANK HERE!!!!

The employees in the branch are great but the home office are idiots. There has been way to many errors and changes that do not work. Since the bank changed name it went down hill drastically.
