Social services at this building is the absolute worst ever. You wait hours to hear one little sentence and they send you off no further questions or help. They do not answer the phone calls. I sat here for 2 entire hours while i watched them have a pizza party at the front desk. Its so ridiculous. Need new people in here that actually work and help people instead of those thinking about a paycheck and wasting peoples time.

Claymont Community Center is truly a diverse community hub of resources serving individuals, youth, families and seniors. We are proud to offer our services along with being a center that houses multiple organizations.

The Claymont State Service Center is a separate organization that is housed in the center along with over 17 businesses that offer services to the community.

Hello, my name is Randolph Marvelli. I have been homeless for two weeks now and living in my car. I just left the food bank on 8/9 and wanted to greatly thank each and every person there for how kind and friendly and helpful they were to me. I can't thank them enough for their caring thoughts. I actually had to leave because I was getting emotional. God bless all of them.

I contacted them through email, looking for information about English courses for adults, I received immediate response from the Director, she assigned an English teacher to assist me, and I was atteded by her almost immediately, everything was rapid and very professional, I already made registration to start English classes in advance level! I m so glad with their attention, and I recommend them!

I got there today at 1015 and it took 3 hours for them to pass me from person to person. Worst service ever. They all pass the buck over and over. Anyone thats not used to "the system" is out of luck.

The staff works tirelessly for the benefit of the Claymont community. There is truly something there for everyone seniors, children and everyone in between.
