Mario Friello is an outstanding agent! I recently relocated back to Connecticut from Nebraska and was looking for an apartment to serve as the in-between residence as we sell our house in Nebraska. Cody Huelsman provided top notch service when it came to listening to our wants & needs in finding the perfect forever home. Mario makes the house buying process simple. Tell him what you want and he'll narrow down the choices for you. His knowledge of market value, remodeling, buying homes, and selling homes really gives him the edge over his competitors too. Let me start by saying I truly did not want to write this review however, the treatment of service my partner and I received is beyond unacceptable. Based on the rental of interest, we had to contact Max Gladstone. I personally reached out to him myself expressing my interest in the property that was listed and received no response. After a week of no communication, I gave my gf the contact number and instantly she received a response. Following the response we set up a time to meet with Max and look at the property. We arrived to the property at the agreed on time, not to mention, Max was late. During the showing of the rental it seemed like my partner and I lead ourselves through the house without much of Max's guidance. Also whenever we would ask any questions, he gave short answers or seems uninterested in answering. The only time he seemed to be engaged is trying insist that we look at a condo instead. He would mostly just stand with his back to a wall and look around. After the tour, we asked how do move forward on applying for the rental and asked does he have applications, he simply said we can email him about the matter. Since I hadn't had luck contacting him, I assigned my gf to email and contact Max going forward. The communication during the process of getting the applications, to arranging drop off for the applications and getting a response of approval or denial was a headache . Being busy is understandable however Max made no effort to reach out or check in. We had to call and email multiple times to get in touch with him. According to Max we were not approved for the rental we wanted, which is fine, however I would also like to mention that when I gave Max $1800 to hold the property until we received an approval or denial, he seemed very surprised that was able to give a check for that amount, also worth mentioning he again insisted that we look for a condo even tho we insisted that we only want to rent a house right now. Prior to leaving the office, I also mentioned that I could give the first and last as well and he made a sarcastic response. The only silver lining in this whole experience was when while trying to reach Max my partner was able to speak with Mario. Mario was truly professional and he response timing and care were immaculate.
