Several times the doctor has canceled appointment due to "stomach virus" at the last minute. I kept kids out of school, canceled other appointments, etc. Anytime I've been a few minutes late I've had to reschedule to repeat their time! How about our time? People miss work and school only to not even have an appointment.

Ok so my son is seeing Kara Reeves I like her she good lady she is good with my son she is a good counselor I won’t deny that but I feel like when life things happen that as a person who has children vs a person who doesn’t have any of their own they do not care and are very quick to threaten or drop children as their patients and it is very sad especially if you actually have a good parent me who’s actually does communicate and touch base with the counselor or office staff which are the sweetest people by the way they are always kind to me so far but my AC compressor went out on Sunday he had an appointment on Monday so I had to call and reschedule again compressor went out on Sunday afternoon and the heat index was 100-103 Hillenburg Heat and Air came to fix it, but they did not have what I was needing because my unit is an older model so his counselor rescheduled my son’s appointment for today For counseling well, the AC people showed back up today around 11:15am without a day before notice my son’s appointment was scheduled for 12:00 so I texted her she had sent me a message asking if we were still coming to his session at 12:03. I didn’t realize the time due to the fact I was dealing with the AC people who were here to fix my air conditioning at home so ended up having to call my son’s counselor to reschedule because my AC is important like hello it is JUNE and it’s Hot outside my home thermostat was 82 to 86 even with running fan’s so why would she expect me to blow off having my AC fixed 🤨 this is what my son’s counselors response to me reaching out to her not just by text because I called also and is what she had to say ( I do understand things come up but this is twice in one week. Per company policy, after two no shows/less than 24hrs cancellation there can discussion of discharge. We will need to reschedule for next week.) again AC compressor went on Sunday his appointment was Monday and I called when they opened to let them know someone was coming to look at it they came to look at and didn’t have the parts they needed so now it is my fault for a no show today for the AC people showing up without a phone call I will say this right now that being said that since the heat index was and is in triple digits the no show for today should be taken off since it is a important matter for my children not just my son but his other 2 siblings and myself to stay cool my son has never been late to a appointment EVER we are always early or on time I feel that we are not being treated fairly in this situation due to my AC stopped working on a Sunday and had to be fixed and everyone knows you have to be at home for them to fix it otherwise it won’t get fixed …. I understand if I was a parent who was a no show all the time or non communicative but that is not the care here at all I feel like her putting my son down as a no show today is extremely unfair due to the circumstances with my AC issue which is now fixed thankfully if I had not been here, it would not have been fixed and would have had to wait longer, which is very ridiculous I’m starting to think that these therapist places actually don’t care about the patients all they care about is their paychecks The only reason why I am giving three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead of 5 is because I actually like her she is a good person and she is nice and good with my child and she has been helpful with certain things that pertain to him but I don’t like that I was treated unfairly today and Monday due to my AC being fixed which was and is something important

My son has been coming here for 7 years. He gets discharged all because his therapist Melissa was not doing her job. She was more into getting into my personal business and life than she was into taking care of my son. We never missed an appointment and was up to date on every thing. I now have filed a grievance against them because that was not right at all. We never received a discharge letter and we don't even know the reason to why he was discharged. I would not recommend them to any one!! Soon as your child say something you know he don't' mean they are quick to throw them into a mental hospital and these are babies. Your suppose to be helping them but i see its all for a check. I hope families inc is reading this because yall are no help to no one and i wish they would shut you all down. I wanted to put no stars but i couldn't post until i put one.

After the latest counselor assigned for our son’s in school counseling didn’t show up for months he was assigned another one. The new counselor didn’t believe our son needed counseling anymore. Which we agreed. After my husband told the counselor this, he texted my husband saying “ok, thanks for letting me know”.

When I tried to get his ADHD RX refilled for school we where told by the pharmacy that we have to call, after they requested two times with no response on the refill. I called and was told my son was “discharged” months ago. We were not told so we could get a new provider to take over his meds. I understand that’s their policy (I and my husband work in the medical field) the reason I give 2 stars is for the lack of communication. First for a MIA counselor and then for not letting us know our son would no longer be under the Dr’s care for his meds.

I will say the front desk Receptionist should get 4 stars. She was as helpful as she could be in the suggestion.

Their offices have changed and the waiting area is much nicer. The office staff have been incompetent and rude for the majority of our time with them (5/6 yrs). They can't keep a psychiatrist. Some have even been through video but you still have to go to the office. The only reason we stayed this long is because the therapist was amazing but she left. Thus far, I haven't been that impressed with the new one. Unfortunately, this seems to be a social work issue accross the board. One of my children goes to Pinnacle Point and therapists are great but everything else is severely lacking.

Wish I had read the reviews before I went to this place. I was told that if the need arose it would be recommended that my son go spend some time in a mental health hospital, so I asked if when it was recommended that I had to do it and was told not but if I did not a call would be placed to the dhs hotline. When did we become a nation where we threatened parents, or let someone else tell us what to do with our children. When did we become a nation that locked up little children in a hospital when there has been no crime committed. Your supposed to help children with mental problems not lock them up like a common criminal.

Andrea the counselor there is really nice & sweet. One of the people that checked us in before seeing the psychiatrist was rude . Overall we had a good experience but I didn’t feel like my son was evaluated thoroughly with the psychiatrist.

To say that I had a bad experience at this place would be the understatement of the year. My son was getting counseling there and I was in the waiting room with him and trying to be polite and take my phone call outside. I had gotten several calls so I had gotten up and down quite a few times .again... to try and be polite to the other patients. Next thing I know they call my son back and asked me to step outside for a second to talk to them. When I step outside the police are waiting for me and the office has made the accusation that I was on methamphetamines and refused to let my son out of the building to leave with me. I had to prove to the police that there was nothing going on with me and they had to argue with families Inc. to let my son leave. My husband had to come and pick us up in order for families Inc to release my child to me because they thought I was under the influence. The police talked to me very intensely for quite some time and let me know that for everyone's best interest if my husband could come to get us that would be great so I complied. However the next day my son's counselor showed up at his school pulled him from class and proceeded to tell him that his mother was on methamphetamines and when my son told her no she doesn't know what she's talking about she proceeded to argue with him to the point that he had to walk away. What kind of facility, a mental health facility at that ,would let this happen? I have some mental health issues of my own including ADHD, PTSD,and general anxiety as well as I am bipolar manic depressant. Anyone who knows anything about these disorders will know that sitting still for me is really just not an option and for families Inc to assume that I was on drugs is just the most unprofessional thing I've heard of in a very very long time. I would not suggest them to anyone ever. I wouldn't give them even one star but in order to post this I had to.
