There are so many reasons why this is not a good campus. The parking spaces available on campus are too few and definitely too far from classes. For a campus that regularly experiences sub-freezing temperatures in late fall-winter you would think they could’ve planned parking a lot better.

This college is also fairly expensive and like most colleges finds 101 different fees to add on to your tuition and other necessary charges.

In regards to the atmosphere on campus I have to say that it feels quite isolating. I’ve been attending for the last 2 years never living on campus and have not been able to make a single lasting friendship.

In regards to the academics on campus there are some really good programs. I have encountered professors who really care about the students and will dedicate all of themselves to ensure our success, and I have encountered professors who hardly know the material they’re teaching without a pre-made slideshow that gets passed around the entire department. These professors are also usually the professors with the least office hours and longest response times to emails.

I love the area of Arkansas this campus is located in but I’d be lying if I said I looked forward to another semester here.

Perhaps if a fraction of the money donated to our hardly average athletics department (I’m aware that we do excel at some sports but not many) was spent on innovating curriculum, adding more convenient parking (that doesn’t cost $1000), and hiring more professors based on merit rather than on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies the campus may actually be a good campus.

The U of A is a place that you always have to call home if you went to school there! I lived there for 6 years around this campus and I always enjoyed being there! It's defiantly the best thing I have ever decided to study here! Go hogs and Woo Pig!

The hogs should come to little rock every year. It was used to be 3x a year. Then it went down to twice a year. Now it's every other year. Im shocked they even do that. That's sad.

The U of A is an amazing place that you always and forever call home if you went to school there! My 4 years on campus here were super enjoyable and memorable and I always look for reasons/excuses to go back to visit! The best decision I ever made academically was to attend school here. Had great professors who would go out of their way to help out in any way they could. Offers several different majors/courses to attend. The business college here is one of the best in the nation. I attended the Education & Health Professions College as well as the College of Engineering during my time on The Hill. The campus and town is beautiful. I wouldn't have earned my degree without the University of Arkansas.
