I have gone to this dentist office for many years with a great experience till now. The women there are extremely nice and welcoming but the dentist is not. I have never felt the way I did before in my 50 years of life from a dentist. He needs to learn patience and treat people better. When you go to a dentist you want to be taken care of with respect not talked to in a way to make you feel upset, especially when you are doing the best you can. I do not recommend Pruitt to anyone. He was very hateful to me and even purposely hit my lip with the instrument he was using. When he was done, his assistant apologized to me because of his behavior and how he treated me.

I first sat in a dentist chair at age two, and two - three times a year since. I had wisdom teeth cut out while 7 months pregnant, multiple root canals, caps/ crowns and just about every tooth in my mouth worked on. I am no rookie. Never had a problem. I have outlived two beloved dentist and had 3 to retire. The latest being Dr. Colbert from Piedmont Dental . I continued going to Piedmont Dental for my wonderful hygienist, fantastic office staff and nostalgia of the old building.
I had seen Dr Pruitt multiple times during my twice yearly cleanings. He was mannerless and arrogant but the 2.5 minuets he was in the room was bearable. Fast forward to yesterday . I had the unfortunate experience of Dr Pruitt putting on a crown. I have never known such pain in the dentist chair.He numbed my tooth, started immediately, and instantly a sharp pain ran down my jaw. I told him I felt it ! He informed me I did not ! Then Rudely started telling me to unclench my hands, breathe through my nose, open my mouth, control my tongue. While he is pinching my upper and lower lip, roughly plundering my mouth. My heart was pounding, I thought I would die! He showed no compassion, he did not care. I was a bother to him!
No sleep last night, teeth throbbing, tongue feels slashed and I can hardly talk this morning. Dr Pruitt is no professional, he his no dentist! Save yourself !!! ( still worried about the boy crying in the next room, getting talked to the same way). May Dr Pruitt one day understand the need for compassion, kindness, or a simple I am sorry to hurt you. Spend some of my money on your office staff , they deserve it.

The best Dentist ever very professional, informative and helpful in every way. The staff keeps a clean and pleasant environment..... yes I recommend this dentist to all my friends.
