Let me start off with I contacted Adam because I had heard some very good things about his branch and guild mortgage. When I had contacted him he was very responsive until it started to get into the numbers and what everything was going to cost to close on a house. He then pushed me off to Casey. To say the very least she very unprofessional and did not know numbers. It honestly was the worst experience anybody could possibly have. The only person that actually helped me was Brenda. She was always responsive and answered a phone call when you needed to reach out to for answers. Adam and Casey would never answer a phone call to talk to you or explain everything. It took months to close on a house due to poor communication and vacations in the middle of trying to close and when I tried to reach Adam he always forwarded phone calls and immediately would send a text saying “ what do you want” or “in a meeting” very unprofessional. After being pushed around for over 2 months for closing I asked Casey when I would be able to close and she kept on giving me the run around and saying that they are waiting on something after I talked to the title company and they said they were ready to close she got angry on the phone and said she would push me back to Adam… needless to say he never responded to any phone calls or text messages and Casey ended up following up on the deal. Since I have closed on my house I have tried to reach out to figure out how to pay online and I get forwarded to voicemail within a couple rings. I would never recommend this branch to my worst enemy. If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR CLOSING ON A HOUSE!!!

Casey Parsons was, and I am sure still is, absolutely amazing. She kept us updated throughout the whole, long, drawn out process that we had to deal with when we purchased our home. She was so sweet and made everything super easy. I feel like I constantly blew up her phone, but she never acted like I was. She was always so happy to talk through things with me. When people ask about our experience, I always have to mention her and our realtor, because both went above and beyond for our little family.

I have mixed feelings. I had no issues with Jeanie she was nice but I only spoke with her on the phone twice. My biggest concern is that I asked for home insurance to be quoted with a local company more than once and was never provided that quote. Its a company that my brother told me to check with because they are great when it comes to claims. Anyway, it wasnt Jeanie but one of her assistants. I was kinda pushed to go with an insurance company that they suggested and I'm still regretting it since they required me to do my own "inspection" of the property and wouldn't accept the official inspection I paid to have done. It must just be certain locations because Guild in Utah was always wonderful to work with.

Along with their enthusiasm, positive energy and attentiveness, They brought a special hands on, personal approach that brought to light each person's genuinely caring for me on a personal level with a tenacity for customer satisfaction. They made me feel as if I was their only person on their agenda. They always answered questions and replied to my texts or emails as soon as I sent them. And many were were outside of typical work hours. (They also had to teach me how to use DocuSign.) They took care of me with style, grace, professionalism and tenacity. It was comforting that they were on top of their game in a team effort. I will miss working with them.

Generally unhappy about this experience. Dave constantly seemed like he was in a hurry to get me off the phone and was hard to reach. They let you text them, but I was never responded to at some point - he calls me back and says “for the future, you should probably just call because I don’t always check or see these messages”. Okay, so what’s the point of having the phone? It was also said it a manner that didn’t seem appropriate. Maybe he and I just didn’t mesh well, but I didn’t like this process. I’ve found a new lender that actually wanted to run numbers before she had me apply for anything and was willing to speak to me for almost an hour each time we were on the phone. I wanted this to be a positive experience, but it wasn’t for us.

As a realtor, I love working with Guild—Justin Holloway especially. He doesn’t mind communicating with my clients, and really getting to know their situation to help them obtain the best mortgage possible. He’s amazing at what he does and I refer all of my clients to him!!

Absolutely terrible. I felt like I was working with the stereotypical sleazy used car salesman when talking with Adam. I asked direct, specific questions regarding term, rate and payment in an email. He already had credit, income, purchase price and all info needed to respond. He refused to answer my questions (shorter term more money down) and repeatedly tried to convince me to go longer with less down (presumably so he could make more $$, nothing to do with what’s best for the customer or what they are askkkng for). After I ended the call he texted me, still failing to provide requested info. Do not recommend trusting this business with financial transactions.
